Overview:


This role is designed to focus on one of the biggest & most exciting growth trends in our marketplace today: Online Grocery.


This role will be on the Emerging Business Sales Team and will report into the eComm Lead for PepsiCo Foods.

The eGrocery NAM will support the online expansion of our grocery customers, leading the development of these key customer relationships and business operations for both Frito Lay & Quaker.

Success in this role will be measured by the ability to drive both short and long term success for customers & PFC.


  • Short term success is measured on performance to plan and operational execution.
  • Long term success is measured on customer relationship building and creating a solid strategic framework for success in 25 years.


The eGrocery National Account Manager for PFC (Frito Lay & Quaker) will appeal to sales leaders that have consistently driven profitable market share growth.

You understand how to align your internal cross functional and external customer teams to effectively bringing forth creative ideas that deliver greater product visibility, sales and operational capability that in-turn deliver against both external customer and internal company objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • National Grocery customer responsibilities, including these primary accounts: LCL, WM, Sobeys, Metro, Costco, and Save-On Foods. Responsible for both Frito Lay & Quaker portfolios.
  • Accountable for building customer volume through execution of online fundamentals against the 4Ps (product, price, promotion & placement), goals and objectives.
  • Specifically lead our eCommerce Fundamentals Forum with eCom team and MBS partner.
  • Leads paid search on programmatic customers for Loblaws, Walmart, Metro, Costco and supports the total search strategy.
  • Enable flawless execution of customer plans via regular, effective and timely information sharing/communication.
  • Supports delivery of brand calendar, ensuring all online elements are optimized for target key performance indicators (KPIs) and driving postcampaign lessons learned
  • Supports the delivery of Test and Learn Roadmap
  • Oversees online catalog product attributes and digital images
  • Cultivates an active network, proactively builds and maintaining relationships to promote eCommerce and Digital Sales objectives internally and at customer level
  • Partner internally & globally to with Marketing to develop and commercialize relevant Club innovation to secure incremental volume & share.
  • Work closely with Customer Finance Manager regarding profitability of customer programs i.e. trade spend and productivity initiatives; Supply Chain regarding planning, and forecasting support the Customer's Supply Chain team.
  • Voice of the Customer internally with cross functional GTM, Sales Strategy and Shopper Insight Teams.
  • Assist internal team bringing forth meaningful and targeted information, programs and intelligence that will inturn deliver profitable sales volume growth and overall customer satisfaction.
  • Provide quarterly forecast updates/reviews on the state of the business.
  • Partners with match contacts globally to develop knowhow framework for Canadian team.
  • Participates in customer team meetings, supports with QBR's and adhoc insights.

Qualifications:

  • University degree
  • Knowledge of digital/eCommerce space, specifically search and shopper marketing
  • 3+ years of experience calling on LF retailers in Canada in sales
  • Ability to work in ambiguous environment and establish new path and processes
  • Proven success gaining crossfunctional alignment to drive project/program support.
  • Solid project/time management capabilities and multitasking skill sets required
  • Able to assess a business delivery model and identify where opportunities exist to make it more efficient and effective.
  • Able to take high level strategic ideas and operationalize them into well thought out marketplace action plans
  • Welldeveloped interpersonal communication and influencing skills.
  • Highly motivated and able to work with a minimum of supervision.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic, fact based annual business plans.
  • Ambassador able to present internal and external viewpoints/challenges in a nonconfrontational manner bringing focus on delivering winwin solutions
