A typical day:

Responsible for implementing daily work objectives, housekeeping, safety, health, environmental, and security. Actively participate in daily toolbox meetings and regular safety meetings. Identify and implement corrective and optimization actions through continuous surveillance of wells and equipment to ensure reliable, efficient, and safe operational conditions. Function as Equipment Care Technician, routinely using maintenance skills for simple maintenance activities. Report when the alarm, emergency, or emergency shutdown system is out of service. Provide detailed, clear, and accurate information during shift changes to ensure unit conditions are updated and operations continuity. Coordinate, control, and monitor maintenance jobs according to corrective, predictive, and preventive planning. Continuously report relevant operational events and abnormal situations or deviations in the work area, equipment, or personnel in the logbook. Take product samples for laboratory analysis and conduct field laboratory tests. Actively participate in emergency response activities. Report incidents internally and escalate awareness following Incident Reporting Guidelines. Inform and consult the Operations Shift Supervisor about operations activities. Promote good communication across the work team to address issues and actions adequately. Ensure wellhead and well surface equipment are well-maintained and in good working order before taking over responsibility for well intervention operations. Provide essential information about well producing problems, current production rates, and well condition. Ensure thorough and complete well problem diagnostics before requesting well work intervention operations. Provide assistance and support during ongoing well work operations as needed.

Successful candidates will have:
  1. Completed secondary education and prior experience as a Field Technician.
  2. High standard of Safety, Health, Environment aptitude, and the ability to promote these standards in others.
  3. Strong knowledge of pipeline operations.
  4. Strong knowledge of safety and operations management tools and processes.
  5. Broad knowledge of Emergency Preparedness Procedures.
  6. Strong knowledge of Project Philosophy and Design Specifications.
  7. Knowledgeable about relevant regulations and commercial agreements.
