Who you are and what you'll do


As an Account Executive at Mappedin, you will be responsible for identifying and closing new sales opportunities with prospective clients.

Your primary focus will be on building relationships, understanding customer needs and demonstrating how Mappedin solutions provide lasting value and achieve the customers' business goals.

You will be directly responsible for the preservation and expansion of our customer base.

An ideal Account Executive is passionate about their work and must be able to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment.

We expect you to take initiative and be a reliable and trustworthy professional, able to balance customer needs with a results-driven approach.


As an Account Executive will be reporting to the VP of Sales and your overarching goal is to identify opportunities with prospects and new clients and build them into long-term profitable relationships.


Your responsibilities will include to:

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through new business generation
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal
  • Conduct research and unearth new sales opportunities through networking to identify and qualify potential leads
  • Convert inbound leads into Mappedin customers
  • Present product demonstrations and proposals that highlight the features and benefits of Mappedin solutions
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing to close deals
  • Collaborate with other internal stakeholders to maximize support and customer loyalty and ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Remain in regular contact with your clients to understand and meet their needs
  • Respond to complaints and resolve issues to the customer's satisfaction and to maintain the company's reputation
  • Maintain detailed records of all sales activities and pipeline management in our CRM system

You are highly interested or have experience in:

  • 1-3 years experience in a SaaS sales or business development role
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication, presentation and relationshipbuilding skills
  • Strong problemsolving and negotiation abilities
  • Familiarity with the SaaS industry and technology landscape
  • Honest, humble, playfortheteam mentality

What are some challenges?
We move fast and sometimes change directions. We can't always wait for all the information before we try something.

If you want us to guarantee exactly what you'll be working on three months from now, we can't give you that.

On the other hand, there is a lot of high value work to do, and it won't be boring. There is a lot of discovery work involved as we frequently do things that are ahead of current technology.


One of our values is playing for the team so you may need to sometimes put aside personal objectives in order to help meet more urgent company objectives, but others will do the same for you.


Behind the scenes


Our tool set currently includes Hubspot, Zendesk, JIRA, Airtable, and LogMeIn but we are firm supporters in supplying whatever tools are necessary for you to produce your best work.

There's a lot of trust here at Mappedin.

We are a REMOTE company, but this role may require you to come into the office from time to time.

If you're local, there will probably be a few days a week when you can expect other people to be in the office.
