The role:

Your main tasks will include:

  • Completing pilot plant data collection, wet lab analysis, data interpretation, and data management (training provided).
  • Preparing test samples for external lab analysis, coordinating with external labs, executing quality control, and managing and distributing all data.
  • Executing test procedures, interpreting data, and proposing next steps.
  • Operating pilot scale industrial desalination plants and performing lab scale bench tests (training provided).
  • Writing completion reports as required.
  • Pilot plant maintenance work (training provided).

You will be a great fit if you have:

  • A degree or diploma in Chemistry, Chemical, or Environmental Technology.
  • 0 to 3 years of postgraduation experience.
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems quickly and efficiently.
  • A strong safety ethic with a keen focus on maintaining a clean and tidy work environment.
  • Proficiency in working with tools, industrial instruments, and lab equipment.
  • Ability to diligently collect data and prepare reports.
  • Profound attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Solid computer skills and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to maintain a high quality of work and quickly learn new skills.
  • Ability to balance many tasks, manage priorities, and work well under pressure.
  • A team first attitude and are ready to roll up your sleeves and pitch in as required.
