Educational Requirements- Completion of a college, CEGEP, or equivalent non-university program lasting 1 to 2 years.
This position is situated in an urban laboratory setting, where you will be part of a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities- Perform tests and analyses utilizing various physical and chemical separation methods.
- Ensure the proper maintenance of laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Support the setup and execution of chemical experiments.
- Document and compile records for analytical evaluations.
- Utilize MS Office for data management and reporting.
- Assist in the formulation of sampling and analysis programs to uphold quality standards.
- Contribute to the development of safety protocols and standards.
- Analyze and interpret experimental or analytical data.
- Design and implement sampling and analysis initiatives.
- Prepare solutions, reagents, and sample formulations as required.
- Possession of a Food Safety Certificate is preferred.
Your focus will be in food chemistry, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Work Conditions- Fast-paced and demanding environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
- Flexibility to engage in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Manage a substantial workload effectively.
Must be capable of handling weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
ExperienceA minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant experience is required.
This is a permanent position with a standard work schedule of 40 hours per week.
