Job Summary:


The Business Support Supervisor role will supervise the reservations team and assist with the administration tasks of the operations team.

They will assist the Business Support Manager with the daily operations of the reservations office, while coordinating with the ground and field operations.


Job Specifications:

Responsibilities:

  • Directly supervise the reservations team including, orientation and training, conflict resolution, and regular oneonones with Lead Hands.
  • Daily management of product inventory. Organize guest manifests and coordinate inventory of available seats with Operations
  • Act on problems discovered, keeping up to date with processes and procedures and proactively communicate information to staff.
  • Assist with hiring new staff and returning staff. Assist in training and provide coaching and feedback where necessary.
  • Bring an entrepreneurial approach to the position and maintain a sales driven culture for our packages and retail.
  • Be a leader in emergency situations. Be proficient in following Emergency Response Plans, provide dispatch services on radio if needed and support services for in field emergencies.
  • Be responsible for opening and closing of office, assisting with accurate guest checkin for both day of and future dated packages. Ensuring all checkins are courteous, professional and complete.
  • Work closely with the Business Support manager assisting with payroll, purchasing, and scheduling tasks.
  • Retail point person.
  • Assist with start up and shut down of operations
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Previous work experience at Whistler Heli Skiing an asset. Radio operator experience an asset.
  • 2 years of Lead Hand supervisory experience or higher
  • Proficient in Word and Excel, Guest Connect and RPOS systems
  • German an asset
  • Coupa and Time and Labour experience an asset
