This exciting position is for a Senior Interior Designer in our Vancouver Interior Design Studio.

We are looking for a talented senior designer with strong conceptual design talents to work with our clients and talented staff on exciting, fast paced, and diverse projects.

Senior Design Lead, growing the team, new client development, and excellence in design. Our Architectural and Interiors group creates high-performance, and award-winning buildings and interiors.

We are passionate about the built environment, and we strive for our designs to impress in an intelligent and sustainable way.

Co-lead the interiors team with individual responsibilities in projects and business development
Provide design direction and mentorship to the team
Collaborate with sector leads to deliver truly integrated project solutions and strengthen/broaden the interiors team experience base
Liaise with Stantec Interior Design Groups across region/sector and opportunities
Strong concept talents, able to develop creative concepts within fast paced projects
Commitment to excellence and high standard of internal and external communication and brand representation
Proven ability to engage colleagues and communicate the needs of the client to bring the right solution to project
Able to communicate complex design concepts to clients
commercial, workplace, retail, food & beverage, hospitality, aviation, education, healthcare
Understanding of industry software required in project delivery; AutoCAD (and/or Revit), Photoshop, Sketchup, InDesign, Bluebeam
Engaging & collaborative nature and passionate about design
Strong leadership qualities and a calm demeanor
Creative, strategic, and organized. Able to create a game plan, delegate and execute
Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or other relevant course of study. 15 years of design experience including business development responsibilities.
