We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Interior Designer to join our team at TalentSphere Staffing Solutions. As a Senior Interior Designer, you will be responsible for managing and executing multiple high-end projects within the hospitality, retail, multi-family, and single-family residential sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute design concepts that reflect our studio's brand and aesthetic.
  • Oversee the design process and construction administration for multiple projects.
  • Lead the design team and mentor junior staff members.
  • Collaborate with external teams, including architects and engineers, to ensure design integrity.
  • Act as the primary contact for clients throughout the design process.
  • Participate in key pre-tender meetings with internal teams and clients.
  • Ensure quality control by reviewing and redlining drawing packages.
  • Manage project schedules, oversee deliverables, and handle project scope and hours.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 8+ years of local interior design experience.
  • Degree or diploma in Interior Design from an accredited institution.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketch-Up, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and millwork packages.
  • Knowledge of the BC Building Code and VBBL.
  • Experience with hospitality, retail, and residential design (single and multi-family).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
