  1. General Description
    1. Responsible for Assisting shop floor setup personnel.
    2. Process documentation updates as needed.
    3. Training of shop floor Assist manufacturing (production) to improve process tooling or needs as requested by Engineering Manager.
    4. Ensure that all methods, tools, etc., are working at optimum levels.
    5. Performs other duties as required with the guidance of the engineering manager, senior manufacturing engineers or Production manager.
  2. Responsibilities
    1. Troubleshoot shop floor as it relates to quality and processing issues with assistance from more senior programmers/Engineering Manager.
    2. Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
    3. Ability to guide / assist setup personal with day-to-day setup duties.
    4. Train shop floor team members as needed.
    5. Ability to trial and analyze tool trials to improve productivity.
    6. Ensure that all methods, tools, and processes are used by follow-up.
    7. Other duties as assigned.
  3. Skill/Effort Requirements
    1. Requires base knowledge of general machining practices.
    2. Requires base knowledge of gauge designs and practices.
    3. Able to specify processes to manufacture components with assistance from more senior programmers/Engineering Manager.
    4. Able to correct machining problems by tooling, gauging, machining, or fixturing.
    5. Frequent processing of multiple tasks and projects with frequent interruptions.
    6. 5 years of related experience required.
