Your Role and Responsibilities

_Responsibilities:
_

  • Ensure paint line process is kept within process parameters
  • Daily handling of paint line chemicals, including lab testing
  • Maintain filter beds, change bag filters as appropriate flush ultrafilters as appropriate schedule, coordinate, and perform tank dumps and perform initial tank charges
  • Forklift operation and chemical transport/handling
  • Ensure Ecoat rack maintenance is completed
  • Ensure correct part identification
  • 5S responsibilities of assigned areas
  • Coordinate daily activities and schedules (start, stop, breaks)
  • Coordinate part loading with daily requirements
  • Communicate issues to Ecoat Coordinator and document accordingly
  • Assist with and monitor performance tables for paint line team
  • Monitor and report out on all customer measurables (Customer Service)
  • Implement and monitor suggestion system (Opportunities for Improvement)
  • Adherence to Health and Safety regulations (Knowledge, Educate, Lead)
  • Be available for PM duties beyond normal shift (weekends)
  • Be willing to work overtime
  • All other assigned tasks as needed

_Key Requirements__:
_**- Grade 12, GED, or equivalent

  • OJT coating and waste water training at a minimum
  • Excellent manual dexterity skills
  • 03 years of experience in similar role or able to learn
  • Computer efficiency skills in all required areas
