Corporate Sales Manager

Responsibilities

  • Proactively solicits and qualifies new business to achieve personal and hotel revenue goals through telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, site inspections, written communication, and client entertainment.
  • Conducts targeted account research to determine revenue potential.
  • Participates in business review meetings, training and other salesrelated meetings as required.
  • To be knowledgeable of local market, national companies, market trends, competition and customers.
  • Work with other departments within the hotel to provide quality service to customers.
  • Attend trade shows, community events and industry meetings.
  • Responds to sales leads and clients' requests.
  • Prepares and customizes sales presentations and proposals/contracts to meet client's needs.
  • Works in harmony with other departments to execute groups and catering.
  • Produces quarterly plans and weekly reports with plans to follow through on activities targets and annual revenue goals.
  • Analyze current and potential market trends; coordinates all activities to maintain and increase revenue through added business volume and increased rates.
  • Executes sales trips to key market areas.
  • Maintains accounts in Delphi with all pertinent information.
  • Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate, and address issues and make improvements accordingly.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Sales and Marketing.

Great to Have

  • Must have excellent communication, written and verbal required.
  • Must have a sharp knowledge and understanding of the hotel sales / operations.
  • This position must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in hotel sales.
  • Energetic and outgoing, with a positive attitude, driven to provide outstanding guest service.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, hold a valid driver's license, own a vehicle, and willing to travel locally to visit clients.
  • Selfmotivated with the ability to function and make decisions in a fastpaced highpressure environment with strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Positive attitude can do approach, when people describe you, they say you are the one they can count on to solve, resolve and proactively rationalize expeditious solutions.
