As the Senior Wealth Advisor in Fort McMurray, you will play a crucial role in providing personalized, advice-based services to our high net-worth members. Your goal is to guide members in achieving their financial objectives through comprehensive financial planning, from initial discovery to ongoing monitoring of financial plans. By identifying the full financial needs of members and collaborating with partners within the Servus Network, you will contribute significantly to the growth and success of our organization.

Compensation:

This role offers a guaranteed base salary of $120,000 as you establish your client base

In addition, relocation support and incentives may be available.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver complete financial planning services by following the CFP's six-step process, catering to clients with $500,000+ in investable assets
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial planning and investment industry through training programs
  • Focus on building a member-centric financial planning practice and expand the network of Servus partners
  • Ensure achievement of personal and corporate objectives, including revenue growth, asset retention, and referrals
  • Adhere to corporate policies and regulatory requirements to mitigate risks
  • Develop a sales strategy targeting high net-worth individuals, enhancing profitability, and fostering member retention
  • Identify training opportunities for staff, provide coaching, and promote teamwork within the wealth team

Requirements:

To be considered, you must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in the wealth industry, along with expertise in securities and compliance. Additionally, you should possess a strong understanding of financial planning, products, and operations.

Educational requirements include:

  • Financial Planning designation (CFP)
  • Canadian Securities Course & CPH
  • Conduct and Practices certification
  • Life License
  • IIROC license
