Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Financial Advisor to join our dynamic team. As a key player in our organization, you will focus on fostering long-lasting relationships with our members, ensuring they receive tailored financial solutions that enhance their overall financial well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and align members with suitable financial products and services that promote their financial health.
  • Achieve and surpass sales objectives and referral targets.
  • Engage in business development initiatives through collaborative marketing efforts.
  • Exhibit exceptional communication skills to effectively assess and address members' immediate financial needs.
  • Continuously expand your knowledge of our diverse investment and banking offerings.
  • Facilitate referrals to our Wealth Management and Business Banking divisions, as well as external partners.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of local market dynamics, competitive products, and economic conditions.
  • Comply with all regulatory standards and internal policies to minimize risks.
  • Deliver an outstanding member experience by adhering to best practices.
  • Contribute positively to our culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Uphold the organization's positive reputation within the community.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in retail banking or a related financial sector, with a strong emphasis on sales or customer service, along with a high school diploma.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in Finance or a related field.
  • Investment Funds in Canada Course & License (IFIC).
  • Personal Financial Service Advice (PFSA) certification.
  • Financial Planning I (FP1) certification.
