Job Title: Financial Advisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Financial Advisor to join our team at Servus Credit Union. As a Financial Advisor, you will play a key role in helping our members achieve their financial goals and build strong relationships with our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify opportunities to match members with the right financial products and services
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and referral goals
  • Participate in business development plans through corporate/branch marketing campaigns
  • Develop ongoing knowledge of our current investment/retail banking services and products
  • Promote referrals to our Wealth Management, Business Banking teams, and our 3rd party providers
  • Build a comprehensive knowledge of the local market, competitive offers, and economic trends
  • Adhere to all audits, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to mitigate risks of fraud or loss
  • Provide outstanding member experience by adhering to Servus' best practices
  • Contribute to Servus' unparalleled culture of teamwork, positivity, and collaboration
  • Maintain Servus' positive image in the community
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of retail banking or related financial industry experience, preferably in sales or customer service
  • A high school diploma
  • Post-secondary education in Finance (or related studies) is an asset
  • Investment Funds in Canada Course & License (IFIC), Personal Financial Service Advice (PFSA), and Financial Planning I (FP1) certifications are valuable assets
