WCCMT New Westminster is recruiting Teaching Assistants for the following courses for the upcoming Fall term, which runs from 1 September to 14 December .
Joint Mobes This course covers the principles of joint mobilizations for the peripheral skeleton.
Therapeutic Exercise This course covers the foundation principles of therapeutic exercise and teaching patient homecare exercises. It is 15 weeks in length.
MSAK Lab 1 This course is the foundation for palpation of the boney landmarks and superficial muscles of the body. It is a total of 23 sessions in a 15 week term.
Role: To assist Instructors in curriculum delivery and other duties relating to instruction in the College's Competency Based Mastery Level RMT Program.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assist the primary instructor in all aspects of curriculum presentation in the classroom including practical demonstration, one-to-one tutorial and/or "table" assistance for students, attendance records, audio-visual technical assistance, and general duties that may arise in the classroom, as directed by the primary instructor for the smooth operation and organization of classes. Prepare for class from notes provided by the primary instructor or other materials, for the purpose of being prepared with a thorough understanding of the theory and practical implementation of course curriculum as it pertains to individual classes the employee assists Assist with all practical evaluations scheduled in class time.Required Qualifications: RMT in good standing with the CMTBC
