Anesthesiologist

Medical Affairs is actively recruiting full-time FRCPC certified Anesthesiologists to join their team at Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre.

Location:

Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre

Job Duties:

Provide hospital and call support as required. Contribute to and participate in teaching programs and activities. Contribute to and participate in other administrative responsibilities as assigned.

Eligible Applicants Must:

Reside in and have as his/her primary residence, Red Deer, Alberta. Be certified or eligible for Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certification. Be eligible for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta; Have completed, or be currently enrolled in an Anesthesiology residency program – preferably in Canada; A minimum of six months pre & post diploma experience (for IMG Family Medicine - Anesthesia candidates only)

Registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA) or proof of Eligibility for Alberta Licensure required (to be included with application).

All physicians who wish to practice in Alberta must hold a valid license with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta. For more information on obtaining this license and the eligibility requirements, please visit College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta

Salary Details:

With a fee for service model, the average yearly income for an Anesthesiologist in Alberta is $444,040 CDN (300,621 Euro).
