We are currently hiring a Full Time MRO (Material, Repair & Operations)Stock Coordinator to join our team

Summary:
Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager the MRO Stock Coordinator will provide stock room support, AMMS system -management, part/stocking data, stockroom layout and identification, creation and maintenance of reports and schedules

Qualifications:

  • Postsecondary Diploma designation in Planning and Inventory Management or experience in a related discipline such as trades certification and/or a combination of related experience.
- (2) years of maintenance inventory, and administration experience within a manufacturing environment is a requirement.

  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical components.
  • Technical knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite) are prerequisites.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, problem solving, English communication and multitasking skills are a necessity.
  • Excellent internal customer focus
  • Ability to enact quality decision making
  • Selfstarter requiring mínimal supervision.
  • A drive for results and dedicated to Continuous Improvement
  • Ability to think outside the box and to make a decision.

Responsibilities:

  • Picking Parts from inventory shelf and comparing the part information to current inventory data
  • Search internet for missing data regarding the part.
  • Renaming parts to a required nomenclature standard set by Gentek.
  • Relabel bin locations
  • Organize shelves space according to product requirements.
  • Complete documentation/paperwork as required.
  • Maintain the computerized maintenance management system (Microwest AMMS) for maintenance preventative maintenance and inventory control purposes.
  • Develop PM process in conjunction with maintenance department.
  • Track work orders status.
  • Trend analysis, tracking and forecasting to determine life cycles of parts.
  • Perform audits and inspections as required to comply with internal and external requirements.
  • Ensure all maintenance items are properly stocked and restocked, ensure availability, and that prescribed inventory levels are maintained.
  • Support tracking of departmental metrics
  • Assist with maintenance of departmental procedures, labeling programs, and instructions.
  • Management and administration of parts stores including min/max counts and physical inventory counts.
  • Communicate with Supervisors and Managers on safety or process related issues.
  • Adhere to plant safety rules, health and safety policies
    and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
