**Conventional Lathe/Boring Mill Machinist**

We are currently looking to fill our position : Conventional Machinist

Schedule - Monday to Friday from 8 :00 am to 4 :30 pm.

Spoken languages: English and French.

Starting wage: $ 30 - $39 per hour

**Responsibilities include**:

- Operation of conventional lathe and boring mills for polyurethane parts/rings up to 110'' diameter
- Increasing efficiency to minimize unnecessary downtimes
- Help with basic maintenance of the Plant machinery

What we are looking for:

- Vast knowledge and experience with conventional machining
- Vast knowledge and experience using measuring tool: micrometers, telescopic gauges and calipers
- Knowledge to read mechanical drawings
- Capability and desire to learn technical aspects
- Autonomous, organized and meticulous person
- Understand and respect H&S rules
- Concentrated on quality and practicality

Horaire de travail - Du lundi au vendredi, de 8 :00 am à 4 :30 pm.

Langues parlées : anglais et français.

Le salaire de départ de $ 30 - $39 de l'heure

**Les responsabilités incluent**:

- Utilisation de tours et d'aléseuses conventionnels pour des pièces/anneaux en polyuréthane jusqu'à un diamètre de 110 pouces
- Augmentation de l'efficacité afin de minimiser les temps d'arrêt inutiles
- Aide à l'entretien de base des machines de l'usine

**Ce que nous recherchons**:

- Vaste connaissance et expérience de l'usinage conventionnel
- Vaste connaissance et expérience de l'utilisation d'outils de mesure : micromètres, jauges télescopiques et pieds à coulisse.
- Connaissance de la lecture des dessins mécaniques
- Capacité et désir d'apprendre les aspects techniques
- Personne autonome, organisée et méticuleuse
- Compréhension et respect des règles de santé et de sécurite
- Soucieux de la qualité et de l'aspect pratique
- Travail 40 hrs/semaine. Disponibilité pour le temps flexible (occasionnel)
