**Work conditions**
- Permanent position; Full time (40h/week);
- **Day shift** from Monday to Friday, approx. 5:30am to 1:30pm;
- **Afternoon shift** from Monday to Thursday, 12:30pm to 11pm (4 days per week, weekend of 3 days);
- Benefits (life, medical, dental, etc.) and pension plan;
- Good working environment (AC in summer, very clean factory).

**Position Overview**

The machinist produces machined parts by programming, setting-up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine (lathe and/or milling), while maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping good records and maintaining equipment and supplies. We do set-ups on the machines because we fabricate custom built machinery in small quantities. If you want to manually program on a machine, this is the place

You will learn a lot with our experience machinists. We also have conventional machines if you have interest

**Key Responsibilities**
- Read and interpret technical drawings;
- Program and set up mills and/or lathes;
- Master precision machining;
- Make necessary adjustments during production;
- Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations;
- Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs.

**Qualifications**
- Diploma in Machining Techniques or any related field;
- Few years of experience in machining;
- Knowledge of G-Codes language;
- Ability to do set-ups on Fanuc controls (an asset);
- Team player / Fast learner / Open minded / Detail oriented.
