As we take on this exciting new challenge, we are seeking an Advisory Analyst to join our Advisory department. Our Advisory Analyst position is an exciting balance of creative and analytics with opportunities for growth within the role.

You will focus on understanding and uncovering design and development trends in the real estate market as it relates to multi-family residential design while providing recommendations for MLA Canada's clients, like-minded industry professionals and colleagues.

This role will report to the Director of Design and the Director of Advisory to collaborate on an array of projects at varying life cycle stages.


As we work with a hybrid remote policy, please note, only residents of the Lower Mainland will be considered at this time as we do require team members to collaborate in office and/or in person as needed.

Full-time remote positions are not available at this time.

The core responsibilities for the role will be, but are not limited to:

  • Tracking residential real estate projects in the Lower Mainland and markets MLA Canada is active in
  • Conduct targeted presentation centre site visits to gather data on the active real estate market as it relates to absorptions, incentives, pricing, product design and other Advisory intel.
  • Collect and analyze data to create high quality Advisory reports that assist various clients and internal teams to make informed decisions related to their developments
  • Assist our Product Development team with tasks related to residential product programming
  • Maintain database of Market Intelligence information to proactively input findings into client deliverables
  • Prepare and assist with unit mix, revenue studies and pricing real estate projects
  • Prepare presentations that communicate Market Intelligence findings and recommendations
  • Attend client meetings and make presentations that communicate Advisory information
  • Regular reviews of MLA Canada's database to proactively input findings into client deliverables
  • Work with crossfunctional teams including sales and marketing to ensure successful product launches and ongoing support
  • Support the Advisory department company initiatives
  • Develop and maintain relationships with industry participants to stay at the cutting edge of market trends and identify potential opportunities
  • Be an ambassador of MLA Canada inside and outside of our offices

Requirements:

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

  • 13 years of experience in real estate, business, marketing or equivalent
  • Time management skills while working under pressure with multiple projects and timelines
  • An amazing attention to detail with an ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment
  • Ability to produce results independently while maintaining a positive team environment
  • Relevant education (Diploma/Degree) from a recognized postsecondary institute
  • Understanding of residential real estate trends
  • Valid BC driver's license with access to a vehicle (business related expenses incurred to be reimbursed)
