The Cast Member is an integral part of our Landmark Stampede Team; they are welcoming, engaging, and committed to responding to the needs of all Guests. They are Movie Lovers who understand the value of bringing the movie experience to the Calgary Stampede. Serving fresh, hot popcorn and ice-cold drinks at the Coke Canteen, we'll be a popular spot for Stampede-goers to gather for a snack and refreshment. While working at the Coke Canteen, you are representing Landmark at the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth, contributing to Landmark's business excellence, and exceeding our Guests expectations, All for the Love of Movies

This opportunity will be based on the Calgary Stampede grounds from July 4th – 14th, 2024, located near the Coca-Cola Stage. The Landmark Stampede Team will be working in the Coke Canteen to provide the perfect popcorn and ice-cold drinks to Stampede-goers. We are looking for Cast Members who are 17 years of age, or older. Shift schedules may vary, with start times as early as 10:00am, and closing shifts as late as 11:30pm. The Landmark Stampede Team are responsible for finding their own transportation to and from the Stampede Grounds. In addition to this awesome opportunity, you will also receive an access pass to the Stampede Grounds for the entirety of the event.

A fun and engaging customer interaction is your baseline, and you can manage shifting priorities distractions, all while exceeding our Guest expectations. You don't mind working outside rain or shine, to provide the Landmark experience at the Coke Canteen. You are eager to grow and develop with Landmark... and YOU love movies

THE JOB:

Greet and engage Guests making them feel acknowledged and adding to their exciting experience at the Calgary Stampede. Be available and visible to them, observe and assist with popcorn and drink orders. This is all part of providing Movie Lovers with a great Landmark experience. Actively participating in the set-up and take down of the Canteen by ensuring proper stock levels, transporting inventory as needed, ensuring that the Guest facing presentation meets Landmark's standards and is maintained throughout shifts. Demonstrating your exceptional Guest Service skills by greeting each Stampede-goer with a warm smile and friendly attitude, promptly serving fresh popcorn and ice-cold drinks, and ensuring every Guest leaves satisfied with their experience. Follow all Food Safety Guidelines as communicated by the Company including but not limited to: ensuring high food quality standards, safe food handling, cross-contamination, proper hand hygiene, proper sanitization of food storage, prep equipment, counters, condiment stands etc. Strong understanding of preparation standards, and product pricing for all food concepts in the Canteen. Adhere to the proper execution of operational Policies, Procedures and Safe Operating Procedures (SOP) for all food service equipment while at the Coca-Cola Canteen, reaching out to the Manager on Duty with any questions and concerns whenever necessary. Operate all Point-of-Sale systems and Tablets and have a strong understanding of how to complete proper procedures for voids/swaps/refunds. Organize and manage Guest line-ups, crowds, and help direct and guide Guests when required. Ensure consistent review of all communication to keep up to date on any changes or program updates. Work safely and ensure safe work practices are followed. Be prepared to respond in an emergency, following the direction of the Manager on Duty, and ensure Emergency Response Plan is followed. Respond to inquiries in a professional & knowledgeable manner and elevate to a Manager as needed.
