What does a Security Supervisor in Regina do?

  • Control and Manage shift (Supervise and Manage Schedules)
  • Appropriate direction given to the guard staff(Provide On the job training and coaching)
  • Ensure all shifts duties are completed
  • Review all Incidents reports for accuracy and thoroughness
  • Ensure appropriate followup initiated regarding incidents and site security concern
  • Identify training needs or requirement (self/others)
  • Perform ongoing performance reviews
  • Maintain security records
  • Perform Security Desk Duties
  • Perform other such duties as directed by the client
  • Trained on handling of the following areas: Fire, Police and building evacuation.
  • Perform site scheduling duties
  • Document work deficiencies and assist/plan improvement initiatives
  • Inspect the site for Health and Safety compliance.
  • To complete Monthly Reports

Qualifications to become a Security Supervisor in Regina

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Minimum 1 year as a Security Supervisor
  • First Aid Level C CPR and AED
  • Class 5 drivers license and clean drivers abstract
  • Reliable vehicle to get to site as transit cannot get to this site
  • Saskatchewan Security Guard License Training Certificate (we can help you get this)
  • Clean criminal background check
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Pass a Drug and Alcohol test
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Must be able to stand and sit for a long period of time.
  • Steel toe boots required
  • Ability to work in a stressful environment if incidents occur.
