About the Position
The ADM Lloydminster, Alberta oilseed plant is seeking candidates for the position of Maintenance Millwright and/or Pipefitter. Duties of a Maintenance employee is to maintain all equipment to required standards and provide support for preventive and failure based maintenance as required by the plant needs. Must be willing to take after hours trouble calls and respond to facility as needed. This is an hourly non-unionized position which could involves shift work, some weekend work and call outs after hours.
Duties and Responsibilities
Required Skills and Qualifications
Knowledge in pumps, conveying systems, gear boxes, milling roll equipment grinders and filtration equipment Skilled at reading and interpreting blueprints and schematic drawings Familiar with inspecting, repairing, cleaning, and maintaining industrial machinery and equipment Inspecting, repairing, cleaning and maintaining industrial machinery and equipment Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple ongoing tasks Great communication skills, both oral and written Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite is an asset Must have a high degree of mechanical competenceEducation or Work Experience
Industrial mechanic (millwright) or pipefitter trade certification would be an asset Two (2) years of experience as a journeyman or apprentice History of working safely and a reputation for promoting and getting involved in safety improvement efforts Additional Information
This position will work in accordance with all local/provincial legislation. This role will understand and be accountable for full compliance with all safety and other EHS requirements.
