Position Details
The ADM facility in Lloydminster, Alberta is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Maintenance Millwright and/or Pipefitter. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment to established standards and providing support for both preventive and reactive maintenance based on plant requirements. Candidates must be available for after-hours troubleshooting and on-call support as necessary. This is a non-union hourly position that may involve shift work and weekend duties.

Key Responsibilities

Adhering to established safety protocols and practices Diagnosing mechanical issues Repairing, overhauling, and servicing machinery Exhibiting a strong team-oriented mindset while also being capable of working independently with minimal oversight Suggesting modifications or upgrades to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency Interpreting equipment schematics and documentation Keeping detailed records of work performed and modifications made Communicating effectively, both in writing and verbally Performing additional tasks as required

Required Skills and Qualifications

Proficiency in working with pumps, conveyor systems, gearboxes, milling equipment, grinders, and filtration systems Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematic diagrams Experience in inspecting, repairing, cleaning, and maintaining industrial machinery Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite is advantageous High level of mechanical aptitude is essential

Education and Experience

Certification in industrial mechanics (millwright) or pipefitting is preferred Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a journeyman or apprentice Proven track record of safe work practices and a commitment to safety improvement initiatives
