Plant Services Maintenance Technician for a client located in Kitimat BC. This is a contract role lasting minimum 6 months with the possible extension for 12+ months. This is full time with occasional work on weekends or outside normal daytime hours when needed.

Location:
Kitimat BC.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the maintenance team both internal and external, operation and project preventative and routing mechanical tasks.
  • Managing safety for all activities, tasks and projects based on assessed hazards, identified critical risks and mitigating actions.
  • Participate in major maintenance unplanned activities on critical assets.
  • Executing planned and unplanned tasks.
  • Documenting compliance checks.
  • Reporting and raising notifications for equipment not operating/functioning as designed.
  • Create CogniBox, use Take 5, CRM's, MicroSoft Programs are part of day to day tasks.
  • Safety interactions as required.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • College or Associates Degree.
  • Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Suite Knowledge.
  • Time management and organization skills.
  • Professional conversation skills.
  • Scoping of tasks, planning of scoped task, working with internal trades and or contractors.
  • SAP experience (Asset).
