Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Comfort Inn & Suites, Terrace. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's maintenance and repair functions.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors, as well as operating industrial vacuum cleaners and making minor repairs to heating, cooling, and electrical systems.
- Equipment Operation: Operate a variety of equipment, including power lawn mowers, carpet cleaning machines, and polishing machines.
- Housekeeping: Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures, as well as water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced hotel environment with minimal supervision, handling heavy loads and working under pressure.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
