Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Best Western Terrace Inn and Terrace Inn Liquor Store. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel and liquor store.
Key Responsibilities- Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and maintain a clean environment
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including painting and drywall repair
- Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Perform safety and security checks to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff
- Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed
- Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens to maintain a welcoming atmosphere
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures to ensure a clean and hygienic environment
- Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas to ensure safe access
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience an asset
- Dependability, flexibility, and reliability are essential for this role
- Work under pressure and handle heavy loads
- Work Term: Permanent
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
