Position Overview:

Analyst, Tactical Solutions, develops and deploys EUCs (VBA, Excel, other platforms) and process improvement initiatives.

Working closely with CSD stakeholders and using agile methodology, identifies opportunities for improvement, develops requirements and implements changes focused on improving operational efficiency, alongside other objectives including client experience, controls and risk mitigation, employee experience.


Responsibilities:

  • Develops and deploys end user technical and process solutions using EUCs (VBA / Excel, Access, other platforms) targeting one or several improvement metrics for a given opportunity
  • Develops and delivers training to stakeholders to ensure successful adoption of the future state process / tool
  • Develops performance metrics to capture current and future states, ensure the sustained success of changes
  • Assists CSD stakeholders in the identification and documentation of opportunities and business cases to ensure that initiatives deliver the maximum potential value to CSD
  • Facilitates concurrent solution development initiatives to improve operational efficiency in CSD teams
  • Gathers and documents business and technical requirements for EUC and process solutions
  • Develops and manages project plans, estimates and SME resources to ensure timely delivery of implementations within required specifications (cost, schedule, performance)
  • Communicates status of projects and develops and delivers communication and training material to all stakeholders as required for successful change implementation
  • Manages initiatives throughout their lifecycle with key CSD stakeholders and senior leadership to ensure the continued engagement and the progression of improvement projects
  • Conducts exploratory pilots and proofofconcept exercises to identify innovative tools, structures and approaches to delivering improvement initiatives
  • Develops internal communications, reporting to foster a culture of continuous improvement throughout CSD
  • Leads and mentors project team members through change initiatives

Qualifications:

  • University degree or equivalent
  • 5 years general business experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a portfolio of multiple concurrent initiatives
  • Adaptability to a changing environment and requirements
