Role Description:


We are looking for an experienced and strategic marketer to lead the planning, execution and oversight of a quarterly portfolio of marketing events, including but not limited to proprietary events, executive engagements, and third party conferences.

This position is responsible for program conceptualization, management, analysis, tracking, and reporting for strategic marketing initiatives with an emphasis on generating high quality pipeline focused across all segments and industries for our core products, with an additional focus on our Financial Services & Telco vertical.


Responsibilities:

  • Work with Canadian leadership team to develop a quarterly portfolio of strategic events throughout Canada in support of multiple business objectives
  • Confidently communicate the events strategy and demonstrate strong alignment to the broader Canada Marketing strategy
  • Complete strategic executive hospitality engagements demonstrating third party partners MLSE and CH Canadians.
  • Identify and lead strategic third party partnerships and collaborate across the marketing team to optimally activate on them
  • Evaluate, measure and report on event impact and return on investment
  • Opportunity to own multiple, simultaneous events and programs that require both strategic planning as well as highspeed tactical execution
  • Partner closely with the FIN-TEL Field Marketing lead on coordinated programming and partner engagement
  • Lead external agencies relationships crucial to execution of Salesforce events Establish internal partnerships crucial to execution of Salesforce events

Required Skills:

  • 35 years of Event Marketing experience (preferably in SaaS)
  • Strong project management skills and an ability to develop and deliver events within a very highvelocity environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills must have the ability to communicate with executives, team members at every level of the organization as well as customers, partners, agencies, etc.
  • Ability to work independently against tight deadlines in a fastpaced, changing environment, keeping a sharp eye on detail and accuracy
  • Must be a selfstarter, highly motivated, able to "turn on a dime" and think through problems to come up with innovative solutions
  • Be an agent for change and innovation: experience leading change and ambiguity, taking ownership and ccraftingbreaking structures to drive innovation
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to listen optimally, socialize ideas across functions and articulate the vision both internally and externally
  • A quick learner with an analytical orientation, while also possessing strategic vision, consensusbuilding skills and consultative style
  • Can lead sophisticated projects spanning multiple teams
  • Experience working with senior executives and crossfunctional teams
