Senior Manager, Events & Catering (Corporate Client) Job Summary The Senior Manager, Events & Catering is responsible for the management of Event Bookings and Concierge Program, ensuring successful planning and execution of events within the Conference Centre and Premium Dining Program. The Senior Manager, Event Bookings will directly supervise Event Bookings Managers, Event Coordinators, Concierge Supervisor and hourly Concierge associates. Now, if you were to come on board as our we'd ask you to do the following for us:
  • Lead, mentor and develop the Event Bookings Managers, Concierge Supervisor and hourly concierge Staff.
  • Conduct regular assessments of the business needs and guest services to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization within the concierge program.
  • Responsible for managing the hourly concierge team including recruiting, hiring, training, performance management, progression planning and corrective action - ensure optimum utilization of all associates.
  • Frequently reviewing and spot-checking Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
  • Provide ongoing day-to-day support for the concierge team and reinforce SOPs.
  • Develops, monitors, and administers concierge training cycles including onboarding for new associates, all programs, modules, workflow processes, and compliance.
  • Manage the workplace catering program, responding promptly to inquiries via phone or email. Provide updates and orders to the hospitality and culinary teams as necessary
  • Oversee the Workplace Catering Program, the Executive Committee Catering Program and will lead the planning of Medium Sized Conferences and Signature Events.
  • Collaborate closely with the Director, Event Bookings & Planning on large scale Signature Events and Conferences.
