We are seeking an A-Player to join our team as a Lead Developer, responsible for driving and executing on the platform team's technical strategy and execution.


The Role

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership: Lead technical discussions within your team and at cross-team meetings, fostering collaboration and innovation.

Team Growth: Lead a larger team of developers, mentoring and ensuring their professional growth within the company.

Sprint Management: Ensure sprints are broken down into iterative, achievable milestones and are delivered on time.
-
Mobile App Improvement: Improve our mobile native app to enhance user experience and functionality.
-
Platform Maintenance: Maintain and improve our platform app, portal app, and public app, ensuring they are scalable and reliable.
-
Unblocking and Prioritization: Unblock teammates, strategize, and prioritize Kanban and sprint streams of work.

Technical Responsibilities:

Prototype, Build, and Maintain: Create seamless and engaging experiences for our users.

Tech Stack: Work with tools in AWS, SQS, C#, SQL,.NET, Mongo, ElasticSearch, and React.

Tool Familiarity: Utilize tools such as GoogleTagManager, Google Analytics, Segment, Amplitude, Intercom, Appcues, Datadog.

Full Stack Development: Leverage your experience with full stack development languages and front-end frameworks like React.

Cross-Functional Communication: Effectively communicate with different teams, derive requirements, and architect shared datasets.

User Experience Focus: Advocate for the user, ensuring our products are intuitive and user-friendly.

Evaluate when to build solutions in-house vs. buy third-party solutions, including the use of AI-assisted tools.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience in leading technical projects and teams.
  • Performs and submits reviews using expertlevel understanding of coding standards and code review checklists.
  • Identifies and recommends improvements using a deep understanding of the broader system architecture and business requirements.
  • Capable of identifying and solving complex problems and edge cases.
  • Champions coding standards and participates in grooming sessions with technical expertise.
  • Leads in the development of highquality code that is maintainable, testable, and adaptable.
  • Identifies and diagnoses complex issues in production code efficiently.
  • Assists with automated testing suites and integration testing, working closely with QA to improve software quality.
  • Deploys code to all environments and helps develop and maintain the deployment process.
  • Develops and improves deployment pipelines, monitoring, and logging systems.
  • Provides comprehensive and detailed documentation, including edge cases and troubleshooting.
  • Advanced knowledge of C#,.NET, SQL Server, frontend coding, AngularJS, React, Redux, and unit testing.
  • Intermediate knowledge of AWS Cloud offerings, ElasticSearch, and monitoring tools.
  • Strong EI skills, capable of managing stress, resolving conflicts, and seeking feedback proactively.
