Seeking:
We are seeking a highly motivated Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. Experience in property management is considered a strong asset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Rent administration, invoicing, account reconciliations, payment processing, and collections
  • Updating tenant information and lease agreements, and maintaining account information
  • Resolving collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history, and credit line
  • Reviewing and maintaining monthly rent roll for accuracy and billing
  • Preparing reports as required and keeping accurate records in accordance with company standards
  • Reviewing and maintaining monthly rent roll for accuracy and billing
  • Acting as a liaison between Accounting and the Leasing Manager/Building Managers
  • Banking duties as required (e.g., depositing postdated checks or cash)
  • Protecting the organization's value by keeping information confidential
  • Filing and other administrative duties

Qualifications:

  • Related postsecondary education and 2+ years pf previous accounting experience in a similar environment.
  • Competency in accounting software, databases, and MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Experience working in Canada is a must
