Job Description

Were currently seeking an Accounting Support Clerk to join our provincially funded and regulated clients office in Halifax, NS. This is a contract opportunity for several months to support the office during a transitional period.

Key Responsibilities for the Job:

  • Accounts receivable: invoicing and bank deposits
  • Accounts payable: processing invoices and employee expense claims
  • Tracker and order office and clinical supplies
  • Shipping and receiving of supplies and equipment
  • Other support tasks as required
Experience & Attributes for Success:
  • Post-secondary education in business, accounting, or administration
  • Previous experience in a similar versatile support role
  • Experience with MS Excel and Great Plains is a definite asset
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Reliable and dependable work ethic
  • Positive and motivated with a team-focused approach
  • High level of flexibility when working with others and positive interpersonal skills
