Responsible to determine conformance to customer drawing and quality requirements through initial inspection, in-process machining audits, and final machining inspection as defined by inspection/test plans, and inspection reports.

Maintains quality and safety standards, maintains clean organized work environment, including equipment and supplies, accurately completes all daily timesheets.

Responsibilities:

  • Preform incoming and final inspection of machined components using precision measurement devises, maintains sage operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
  • Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
  • Documents actions by accurately completing reports, and quality logs.
  • Completes inspection of machined parts by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprint including geometrical dimensioning and tolerance (GD*T), and material specifications.
  • Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and height gauges, bore gages, test indicators.
  • Inspect machined workpieces to verify conformance to specifications.
  • Maintains cleanliness of workstation and surrounding area.
  • Lift and/ or move u to 30 pounds, and occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Must process strong math skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Follows instructions both verbal and written.
  • Use of Microsoft Office Suite and other basic computer skills.

Position:

6am - 2:30pm Monday - Friday, Starting rage is depending on experience, possible rotating shifts.

Salary:
$18.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

  • Monday to Friday

Education:

  • Secondary School (preferred)
