Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic to join our team at Standard Brass & Aluminum Foundry Ltd. As an Industrial Mechanic, you will be responsible for detecting and troubleshooting irregularities and malfunctions in our equipment, fabricating parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or setup, and performing routine maintenance work on machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Detect and Troubleshoot Irregularities: Identify and resolve issues with equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Fabricate Parts: Create and install parts required for equipment overhaul, maintenance, or setup, ensuring precise fit and function.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repair work on machinery, including lubrication, cleaning, and adjustment.
  • Installation and Setup: Install new machinery and equipment, ensuring proper alignment and configuration.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and test equipment and machinery to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field or equivalent experience.
Work Environment

As an Industrial Mechanic at Standard Brass & Aluminum Foundry Ltd., you will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a focus on quality and efficiency. You will be required to work at heights, in confined spaces, and with heavy equipment.
