Quality Auditor Position at Coulson Aviation

ABOUT COULSON AVIATION

Coulson Aviation is a renowned aerial firefighting organization operating across the USA, Canada, Australia, and South America.

Specializing in large aerial firefighting aircraft, both fixed-wing and rotary-wing, with the capability to swiftly combat fires using various protocols.

As a division of The Coulson Group, a successful establishment with a 63-year history, Coulson Aviation is expanding its team and seeking an experienced AS9100 Quality Assurance Auditor.

WHAT WE'RE SEEKING:

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Auditor to bolster our Quality Assurance team.

Coulson Aircrane serves as a Canadian aviation Approved Maintenance Organization, aircraft operator, and manufacturer. The chosen auditor will oversee internal audits to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory guidelines.

This full-time role is based in Port Alberni, Vancouver Island, catering to candidates eligible to work in Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting internal audits to meet Quality Management System criteria
  • Managing the Quality Management System
  • Identifying areas for enhancement
  • Communicating audit outcomes to management
  • Supervising implementation of corrective actions
  • Upholding company policies and procedures
  • Engaging in external audits as needed
  • Coordinating training assignments for staff and contractors
  • Assisting with the company's Controlled Goods Program

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with Quality Management Systems
  • Experience in QMS maintenance
  • Minimum 3 years of internal audit involvement
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Basic knowledge of aircraft/helicopters preferred
  • Understanding of parts manufacturing and production an advantage
  • Completion of auditor training
  • ISO 9001/ AS9100 certification beneficial
  • Eligibility to work in Canada
