Position Overview:
The primary function of the Data Research Assistant is to is to provide administrative and research/support to the content department.
The Data Research Assistant will review source documents and websites to determine whether the latest information can be used by the Data Department according to established guidelines.
The Data Research Assistant will then be responsible for entering this information into our Data Tracking System for permanent archive/storage.
The Data Research Assistant will also be responsible for entering, testing as well as maintaining various data elements in our Content Management System for direct distribution to our clients.
Data accuracy is expected to be maintained at the highest level throughout every process.Core Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Establish processes for data handling on a perOEM basis
- Search data sources such as reference works, internet sources, and statistical records to obtain data
- Product and tool testing as assigned
- Support Associates and management with individual projects as assigned
- Draft correspondence to answer inquires as assigned
- General office work, including operation of standard office equipment and software, filing, and maintaining schedules. Creates forms, arrange meetings, document and distribute minutes of meetings, and other office work as assigned
Education, Experience and Skillsets:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Responsible, organized, able to work well under pressure and to excel in a constantly changing environment, time management skills, and proven initiative
- Minimum 1year experience with MS Office Tools Suite
- Very high accuracy and attention to detail is required and must be demonstrated in decision making and entry of information
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Critical decisionmaking skills
- Postsecondary education would be an asset
- Basic knowledge of automobile industry preferred
