Purpose of the Role:

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • You've had postsecondary education in business administration, supply chain management or equivalent experience.
  • You have 25 years of previous related experience.
  • You posses excellent problem solving skills.
  • You have excellent communication and negotiation skills to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • You have great attention to detail and accuracy in documenting and tracking procurement activities.

What Success looks like in this role:

  • You will conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and products that meet the organization's needs.
  • You will evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, availability, and other factors.
  • You will negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and conditions.
  • You will manage relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any issues that arise.
  • You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as production and inventory management teams, to forecast demand and ensure adequate supply levels.
  • You will procurement data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
