RESPONSIBILITIES:

The employee position noted above is responsible for, but not limited to the below roles:
The Service Lot Attendant is a critical role in the Volkswagen Service Core Process. You will be responsible for the reception of service customers during the drop off process.

This role provides an important function for our business as you are a key contact person, as you are the first employee a customer greets and often the last employee they have contact with.

Therefore, the goal is to provide a lasting positive impression, through providing a high level of customer service.

You are required to greet customers in a professional manner, disinfect vehicles, install touch surface coverings in each vehicle, tag each key and park vehicles is a logical and safe way.

This role will require attention to detail and cooperation amongst your colleagues and numerous other departments and business partners.

In addition, there will be times when your assistance will be required within other departments such as the parts, new and used car departments for driving and clean-up duties as well as snow planning in winter months.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional and courteous service for customers in person
  • Take possession of their vehicle and keys
  • Disinfect the interior touch locations of the vehicle and install protective coverings
  • Park vehicles in a safe and logical manner
  • Maintain the order of parked vehicles in the service, new car and used car parking locations
  • Keep the service drive thru work area cleared and presentable from wet and dirty floors
  • Ensure cars are parked in a timely manner and carefully. We treat customers property as if it is our own
  • Provide back up to service advisors during busy seasonal peak periods or during times of absence
  • Assist new and used car department managers to ensure inventory is neatly parked

- must be able to drive standard transmissions

  • Provide assistance in general driving duties such as back up for the parts department in delivering parts, or dealer trades
  • Full class "G" drivers license required
  • Clean drivers abstract must be presented for interview


Assist with planning for snow removal and shoveling around building entrances and exits, including casting salt to prevent slips, trips, and falls.


Salary:
$18.00 per hour
