This role's primary responsibility is to be the BA Canada representative, developing market strategies to increase revenue, find opportunities for tactical activities and drive performance within the region which will include managing a portfolio of BA / IB corporate and trade partners.

About the role

  • Managing a mixed portfolio of strategic Canadian Corporate / Agency accounts.
  • Creating / implementing agreed channel strategies for Canadian market.
  • Delivering revenue by understanding customer needs and matching to relevant products.
  • Responsible for cultivation of key relationships within the Chamber of commerce and all Airport Authorities for BA routes within Canada and Visit Britain.
  • Responsible for establishing a regular schedule of engagements directed at achieving progress against the key deliverables for growth in CA..
  • Analysing data and using insights to drive revenue generating/share shifting actions.
  • Deep penetration of decisionmaking units within accounts to expand influence map and drive strategic decisions.
  • Conducting high touch performance reviews
  • Negotiation of deals, implementing SMA activities.
  • Leveraging waiver and favour budget allocations to maximise return of investment.
  • Sourcing new business opportunities and upselling opportunities to existing customer base.
  • Proactively seeking market intel and insights and feedback.
  • Creating and implementing high touch account development plans for portfolios.
  • Sole face of BA/IB to the market and advocate for the client and the business to improve performance.
  • Represents the views from market and provide key local market feedback and intelligence to help influence and make strategic decisions for CA market.
  • Sole point of contact and representation for IAG group within CA with Joint Business partners and HQ
About you

  • Proficient with the tools and technologies of digital sales.
  • Energised in a highvolume environment, implementing plans and initiatives across a large portfolio of accounts.
  • Has a cando attitude, flexible and agile in approach
  • Acts with integrity to build trust, seeks Innovative ways of working, Customer Centric with string commerciality
  • Proficient in CRM management
  • Advanced communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Leading and implementing change
  • Ability to work in selfdirected, fastpaced environment
  • Ability to evaluate data and metrics effectively to ensure focus on commercial opportunities (essential)
  • Able to utilise digital selling and other innovative ways of working to achieve revenue targets
  • Experience of building productive working Internal and external relationships in a multicultural hubbased environment
Qualification / Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years account management or equivalent commercial experience (highly desirable)
  • You must have the right to live and work in Canada
