WHAT YOU'LL DO


As Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for establishing marketing plans using Sephora's marketing levers that drive sales and grow clients for strategic Sephora brand partners.

You will report to the Senior Marketing Manager, Brand Marketing.

Job Responsibilities

  • Brand Marketing Partner
  • Lead the brandmarketing relationship, acting as the marketing main contact for 15+ brands
  • Develop a keen understanding of the brands' businesses, priorities and products
  • Navigate brand conversations with senior marketing leaders in the brands' organizations
  • Advise brands strategically and tactically on how to win at Sephora from an omnichannel standpoint, including client messaging, creative, advertising, social media and sampling strategy, to achieve mutually beneficial business objectives
  • For select brands with limited marketing means, advise on general marketing strategy and the best use of the brand's marketing resources, both inside and outside of the immediate world of Sephora
  • Marketing Collaborator
  • Develop strong partnership marketing programs, securing brand participation and coop funding
  • Analyze and report on Sephora and brand value for collaborative marketing program investments, providing insightful recommendations that deliver outstanding results for both Sephora and the brand
  • Build and maintain annual brand marketing exposure calendars within a continuous planning cycle
  • Lead brand plan execution with excellence, ensuring delivery of all brand activation requirements
  • Identify brand opportunities and build the case for new coop marketing programs and partnerships
  • Lead brand marketing budget
  • Cross-Functional Leader
  • Serve as the marketing 'goto' contact for Sephora category merchant(s) of strategic brands
  • Build reciprocal partnerships crossfunctionally in a highly matrixed organization (including merchandising, dotca, digital marketing, loyalty, store marketing, events, marketing operations, education, planning and analytics)
  • Develop close ties with US counterparts to advise, leverage and influence for the Canadian market
  • Play a meaningful role in building and evolving the Brand Marketing service model in Canada
  • Bring plans to life through organized process and followthrough
  • Provide constructive creative feedback
  • Demonstrate our Sephora values of passion, innovation, expertise, balance, respect, teamwork and initiative

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • 5+ years related experience in brand management/marketing in a consumerfacing, fastpaced working environment (retail and/or beauty an asset)
  • Proven omnichannel marketing experience with strong datadriven decisionmaking that gets results
  • Proven track record to lead as a creative selfstarter with a cando demeanour and rollup your sleeves approach
  • Proactive problemsolving skills to anticipate obstacles and quickly generate alternative solutions/ideas
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with honed presentation confidence to express expertise and point of view in multiple forums and leadership levels
  • Outstanding organizational and timemanagement skills to drive multiple projects simultaneously within timelines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with approachable style and consistent track record to establish relationships and work effectively in a highly crossfunctional team
