Position Purpose

Major Responsibilities

planning/roadmap activities, including collaborating with internal/external stakeholders to define program/project objectives, conducting industry research/analyses, as well as gathering stakeholder input to develop required deliverables and/or inform decision making. Support roadmap development, refresh and downstream planning, as well as maintenance to achieve goals.
  • Lead and support planning of special projects in alignment with roadmap and Connected Care business streams, ensuring robust due diligence and planning to inform decisionmaking
  • In addition, support annual business planning efforts to continuously refine panCanadian roadmap and program plans. **Structure

  • Manage and support the execution of interoperability initiatives, including monitoring of workstreams to ensure programs/plans are progressing inline with timelines, identifying and mitigating program/project risks and escalating as appropriate, as well as supporting transition of programs to delivery/product team and operations
  • Manage and support the implementation of special projects, including monitoring workstreams, timelines, and risks
  • Continuous engagement with cross functional teams, ensuring clear communication of plans, timelines, and expectations to promote collaboration.
  • Define clear business outcomes, performance measures (i.e. KPIs) and monitor performance against goals in collaboration with the Performance Analytics team **Scope new/emerging opportunities
    based on research, emerging trends/intelligence, and stakeholder input to maintain Infoway's leadership position in the interoperability landscape.
  • Conduct evaluations/due diligence, develop business plans/cases, and provide recommendations to leadership based on the opportunity assessment and prioritization matrix to inform decisionmaking

Identify
, develop, and manage partnerships with leading national and global entities to share knowledge/resources, provide input to influence strategic directions, and align on initiatives to enable advancement of the Shared pan-Canadian Interoperability Roadmap.

- **Develop communications collateral for stakeholder audiences** including but not limited to Health Canada, Infoway Board of Directors, jurisdictions, industry partners and other stakeholders to generate support and buy-in of strategies and initiatives through development of proposals, reports, and other materials.

Education

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in business, Health Sciences, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or related field

Qualifications

  • Minimum five (5) years of healthcare/digital health related program/project planning and implementation experience; preferably two (2) of which within a consulting firm (or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of Canada's healthcare system and/or digital health environments
  • Strategic and business planning expertise required
  • Excellent verbal and written commun
