The Business Development Manager, Vyta, under the direction of the Director of Vyta, is responsible for growing all Vyta inquiries through the development of channel marketing opportunities and business partnerships with organizations whose members fit the Vyta customer demographic, including but not limited to health care, retirement/nursing facility, retail, pharmacy, social clubs, community centers and financial services sectors.

Most of your time will be spent in the community, building relationships and working with organizations that possess clients who can benefit from Vyta's Aging in Place services.


  • DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drive demand for all of Vyta's Services and products across the markets in which Vyta serves.
  • Sell Vyta's aging in place services through channel marketing opportunities and business partnerships with organizations that have a national or provincial presence and obtain clients who can benefit from these services.
  • Develop innovative solutions for organizations that require Vyta's services to differentiate themselves from their competitors.
  • Promote Vyta's services by conducting meetings, group presentations, information sessions, public events, trade shows and conferences.
  • Work in partnership with Bayshore's home care branches to coordinate sales activities with local outlets of national and provincial organizations and to provide programspecific support.
  • Ensure Bayshore branches have adequate training and materials to promote Vyta services along side their own branch services through collaboration of the NDC Marketing team.
  • Maintain an ongoing contact management program with prospective clients and partner groups and ensure all relevant information is kept up to date in our Creatio CRM software.
  • Participate in ongoing internal and/or external continuing education activities.
  • Participate in proactive Health and Safety activities while performing all duties, and be responsible for notifying your immediate supervisor of any Health and Safety risks or concerns.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client and corporate information and discusses same only with appropriate personnel.
  • Complete other tasks as requested.
Job Qualification

Education and Experience
A college or university degree in Business, Marketing, or a health care-related field.

Five or more years of demonstrated sales, business building or management success in the health care sector or a service-related field.

Prior experience in service sales to the health care, retirement/nursing facility, retail, pharmacy or financial services sectors would be beneficial.

  • Strong customer service and problemsolving mentality.
  • Adept at spotting business opportunities and developing creative business solutions.
  • Good business sense and strategic thinking.
  • Strong interpersonal and decisionmaking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Strong entrepreneurial, marketing, communication (oral and written) and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in use of Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and CRM software, or ability to quickly learn how to use these tools.
  • Willingness toward outoftown or outofprovince travel if required.
  • Clinical or nursing experience an asset but not essential.
