The Assistant Manager duties include, but are not limited too:

  • Managing staff to help maintain and achieve restaurant operational standards, daily service targets and optimal guest satisfaction
  • Monitoring and controlling labour, food and waste costs
  • Coaching & training being able to support and give staff the right nudges at the right times to set them up for success
  • Spending time every shift on the floor supporting and working with staff
  • Ensuring all food safety regulations are followed
  • Assisting with inventory management
  • Assisting Store Manager with day to day tasks (covering responsibilities while Store Manager is not present)
  • Other duties which involve the day to day operation of a quick service restaurant

REQUIREMENTS

  • Some restaurant management experience one year or more (A&W Experience prefered)
  • Quick service restaurant experience preferred
  • College or University Education preferred
  • Food handling certificate
  • Access to reliable transportation
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
  • Great social skills and love for interacting with other people
  • A leader and a team player
  • Basic English language skills

Salary:
$17.00-$19.00 per hour
