Summary:

Reporting to the Vice President - AML Investor Services, the Associate will be an integral part of the team's success.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Complete and maintain AML requirements for investor transactions for varying investor types.
  • Maintain an overview of complete and incomplete AML records and ensure timely action is taken to make all investors AML compliant.
  • Work closely with the compliance department to ensure all AML procedures are followed in accordance with the company's Anti-Money Laundering procedures manual.
  • Participate in special projects within the group including quality control and process improvements and AML/CDD remediation projects for noncompliant investors.
  • Assist with new client onboarding, relaying full CDD requirements for varying investor types in varying jurisdictions.
  • Risk assessment and ongoing investor screening.

Experience:

  • 1 year in an AML / KYC or Investor Services role within Fund Services is essential.
  • Experience of HWM Mantra would be an advantage but not essential.

Education:

  • A university degree (B.A./ B.Sc./ M.B.A.) in any field of study, preferably in Business.
  • ACAMS or ACFCS certification would be an advantage.
