The Opportunity:

You'll be part of a growing team of surveyors, located in the Fredericton Area, using your skills as a Survey Technician to take measurements utilizing Total Station, GNSS, Scanning, and UAV technologies. What you can expect to do here:
  • Maintain detailed survey fieldnotes of data collected and layout;
  • Implement proper survey methodology and techniques;
  • Recognize when extra work needs to be done and report to the Project Manager;
  • The ability to use Trimble conventional survey equipment, Leica and Z&F scanners;
  • Be a company representative and act on behalf of the company;
  • Travel and work on projects throughout NB;
  • Other duties as assigned.
What you'll bring to WSP:
  • Experience with Civil3D would be an asset.
  • Experience with construction surveying would be an asset.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing;
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and schedule work;
  • Valid NB driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Preference would be given to a candidate with a Geomatics/Survey certificate (or equivalent) from an accredited college.
