About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Technician to join our team at Cut-rite Lawn Services 2003 Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality landscaping and horticulture services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Landscaping and Horticulture Services
    • Build and maintain models of outdoor spaces
    • Manage and coordinate landscaping projects from start to finish
    • Estimate costs and develop specifications for projects
    • Survey and assess designated sites to identify areas for improvement
    • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens to ensure optimal health and growth
    • Apply fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, pesticides, and other lawn care products as needed
    • Perform various treatments such as pruning, spraying, repairing damaged areas, and injecting treatment solutions
    • Assess the health of lawns and diagnose problems and diseases in trees and shrubs
    • Plan and coordinate the growth and use of plants for landscaping, ornamental purposes, and other uses
    • Plant and move trees, and perform tree removal services

      • Work independently and as part of a team
      • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling
    • Physical Capabilities
      • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials
      • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
      • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
    Requirements
    • Education and Experience
      • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
      • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in landscaping and horticulture
    • Language and Communication
      • Fluent in English
    • Work Schedule
      • 32.5 hours per week
