About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Landscape Technician to join our team at Cut-rite lawn services 2003 ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and health of our clients' outdoor spaces.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain models of landscaping designs
- Manage and coordinate landscaping projects from start to finish
- Estimate costs and prepare specifications for projects
- Survey and assess designated sites to determine the best course of action
- Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens to ensure optimal health
- Apply fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, pesticides, and other lawn care products as needed
- Perform various treatments such as pruning, spraying, repairing damaged areas, and injecting treatment solutions
- Assess the health of lawns and diagnose problems with trees and shrubs
- Plan and coordinate the growth and use of plants for landscaping, ornamental purposes, and other uses
- Plant and move trees, and perform tree removal as necessary
- Work in a variety of outdoor settings, including residential and commercial properties
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Physically demanding role requiring standing, walking, bending, and crouching
- Combination of sitting and standing throughout the day
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
- Equivalent experience may be considered
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Permanent full-time position
- 32.5 hours per week
- English language required
