About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Technician to join our team at Cut-rite lawn services 2003 ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and health of our clients' outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain models of landscaping designs
  • Manage and coordinate landscaping projects from start to finish
  • Estimate costs and prepare specifications for projects
  • Survey and assess designated sites to determine the best course of action
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens to ensure optimal health
  • Apply fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, pesticides, and other lawn care products as needed
  • Perform various treatments such as pruning, spraying, repairing damaged areas, and injecting treatment solutions
  • Assess the health of lawns and diagnose problems with trees and shrubs
  • Plan and coordinate the growth and use of plants for landscaping, ornamental purposes, and other uses
  • Plant and move trees, and perform tree removal as necessary
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work in a variety of outdoor settings, including residential and commercial properties
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Physically demanding role requiring standing, walking, bending, and crouching
  • Combination of sitting and standing throughout the day
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Equivalent experience may be considered
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently
What We Offer
