Responsibilities

The Learning Design and Innovations Department at Thompson Rivers University (TRU) is seeking a Coordinator, Educational Technologies for a limited-term position. The role involves providing support to faculty in utilizing educational technologies to enhance curriculum development and learning experiences. The selected candidate will share best practices and facilitate professional development activities, such as workshops and seminars, to promote the integration of emerging educational technologies like Moodle and Open Educational Resources.

  • Contribute to strategic planning for the maintenance, upgrades, and data integrity of TRU's educational technologies.
  • Provide technical support for faculty professional development and course delivery.
  • Collaborate with TRU service units to establish online learning solutions and ensure alignment with curriculum requirements.
  • Research and report on emerging educational technologies to enhance teaching and learning practices.
