RAM cylinders are built in an ISO 9001 quality environment and used in a variety of industries such as agriculture, mining, oil & gas, waste, transportation, material handling, and construction equipment.

As a key component supplier, RAM sales of custom hydraulic cylinders are "business to business." We focus on selling our capabilities - in design & engineering expertise, and machining & production abilities, to other manufacturers and equipment builders.

We are seeking an experienced sales professional to oversee our growing sales and marketing team in the role of
Sales Manager. This individual requires the leadership ability to aggressively develop and increase sales volumes to meet Company growth objectives.


This is an executive position based out of our head office in Yorkton Saskatchewan, which is around two hours drive from Regina and a bit more from Saskatoon.


Key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Overseeing current client relationships to ensure satisfaction with RAM products and services lead to repeat orders and new opportunities as their businesses and product lines evolve.
  • Continuously leading new account development with the RAM sales team through sourcing and identifying OEM's best suited to RAM's expertise, and then implementing targeted and strategic plans to secure new business.
  • Working with all departments at RAM as required to initiate and react to quoting and business opportunities with enthusiasm, urgency, creativity and confidence.
  • Taking the initiative to travel (unhindered) between the Canada and the US for customer visits, new prospect presentations, industry meetings, trade shows and sales meetings.
  • Working with the Marketing dept to implement advertising and promotional campaigns targeting business development in various sectors and product lines.
  • Making Sales strategies and advising team in building sales pipeline.
  • Domestic & International (US) Sales Operations
  • Keeping up to date on industry, market, product and competitive trends to recommend business changes or programs that attract business.
  • Having strong business acumen and building field sales relationships.
We seek a Sales leader who is self-motivated and very comfortable with prospecting, making introductions and networking.

Strong interpersonal and organization skills are needed - with the ability to lead a team, work independently and coordinate activities with other departments.
